What a week! Your regular column writer, the legend that is Bryn Evans has been truly cooking up a storm with Capital FM’s Rob Ellis and Wingman, with a little bit of Rachel too!
“A new radio star is born.”
The Cafe Bar & Grill at the ABode this week played host to ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ in association with the Manchester Food & Drink Festival. Rob, Wingman and Rachel helped prepare 3 courses to the 60 lucky people who managed to get through to Capital to these prize tickets! All under the watchful eye of our very own Bryn.
He was hardly off the radio this week, whether it was setting the trio tough tasks, or announcing who was the winner in an X-Factor style! A new radio star is born.
The Food & Drink Festival draws to a close on Monday – but before it does make sure you get down to the Festival Hub in Albert Square and other stalls and events around the city to sample some of the very best food from the region.
A Michelin star we may have missed out on again – but who cares when the quality of ingredients from our region are created into such outstanding cuisines by chefs such as Bryn and of course Executive Chef of ABode, Rob Cox nominated for Best Chef at the Food & Drink Festival Awards [if you haven’t voted for us yet, please visit www.foodanddrinkfestival.com to cast your vote for us for Best Chef and Best Restaurant for the Michael Caines Restaurant.
Enjoy good food and drink… as long as it’s FFB!
