Northern Quarter tiki bar Hula is opening a venue in the South Manchester suburb of West Didsbury, as it eyes expansion across the UK.
‘hedonistic fun, exotic cocktails
and lively DJ sets’
The new bar is taking over the former Mtiki on Burton Road and will re-brand as Hula West Didsbury at the beginning of April.
The venue has had a mini-refurb to accommodate the after-work drinks crowd, providing a comfortable and relaxing space ahead of the late-night party atmosphere.
Expect all the hedonistic fun, exotic cocktails and lively DJ sets synonymous with the Hula brand.
Hula West Didsbury will share the same cocktail menu, featuring the iconic Zombie.
Mark Andrew, managing director at MAD Ltd, which owns the Mtiki and Hula brands, said “This venue was our first bar and has established itself in the West Didsbury bar line-up. It’s still as popular today as ever, but we wanted to expand the Hula brand in Manchester and beyond.
“The Mtiki site was the perfect choice for the second site. We’re already looking at further sites to bring the Hula experience to more people across the UK.”
Hula West Didsbury will launch with a party night on Thursday April 2 with DJ Gareth Brooks and free cocktails between 6pm and 8pm. For more information visit the Hula West Didsbury Facebook page.
MAD Ltd also operates Walrus, Tusk, Rosylee and The Fitzgerald in the Northern Quarter.
