Get ready to stock up on Christmas goodies because The Makers Market has a fabulously festive Christmas Market coming your way!
Expect to be greeted with all the merry-and-bright festivities of over 110 handmade, artisan small businesses. There will be local artists, live music with 2 Choirs performing over the day FREE kids crafting and of course a bounty of the finest artisan eats and sweet treats. Support local this year and gift truly unique presents that can’t be found anywhere else, you will be completely spoilt for choice!
The two fabulous choirs will be:
From 11:30am Loretto Sixth Form will be performing “Winter Moon”, “All you’re dreaming of” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” as well as some instrumental pieces. Loretto will be raising funds for Manchester Foundation Trust Charity during these performances.
From 1:30pm Absolute Belters will be performing a number of Christmas songs with their women’s choir. This amazing group also welcomes new members so make sure to get in touch if you would like to join this friendly and talented bunch
There will be an abundance of incredible food traders, bringing their fabulous artisan products including:
Cakes, sausage rolls, pies, pasties, brownies, blondies, Portuguese tarts, Japanese cheesecakes, jams, bread, pastries, honey, liqueurs, ginger drinks, cupcakes, rocky road, curries, Asian snacks, ingredient kits, frozen Indian meals, hot sauce, fudge, gluten-free patisserie, chilli oil, gin, vodka, cookie pies, Italian desserts, giant stuffed cookies, BBQ’ed sandwiches, burritos, tacos, Italian deli items, farmhouse meat, cheese, black pudding, arancini, Jamaican patties, baklava, filled doughnuts, croissants, Turkish pastries, olives, gluten free cake, Salford rum, chocolate truffles, Polish breads, Lebanese deli items, Nepalese momo’s and more!
There’s plenty for the handmade and art aficionados too with stalls including:

This month we will also be showcasing Family PE, based in Sale this new initiative has been designed especially for parents and children to enjoy fitness together. Classes combine exercise with storytelling, creating a fun experience where both parents and kids can stay active, bond and enjoy a great workout. So be sure to stop by their stall and say hello!
