About the charity

When we welcome dogs into our homes we hope it will be forever, but sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and we’re faced with tough choices.

While it is heart-breaking, sometimes giving up your dog is the bravest way of showing your love for them. In other cases, dogs and owners can be helped with extra support and training advice.

Whatever your circumstances, Dogs Trust is here to listen and offer compassionate advice to help you decide what’s right for you and your best friend. If you’re struggling with training, would like advice, or need to give up your dog, we’re here to help.

How you can help

Volunteering

Volunteering with us is one of the best ways you can support our work for rescue dogs and help us get even more pooches back on their paws!

As the UK’s largest rehoming charity, we have every breed of opportunity for you to get involved with, to match all manner of interests and skillsets. Give your time today and help us care for dogs when they need us most.

Fundraising

Want to get involved and help dogs, but not sure how? Fundraising is a great way of staying active, bringing your community together and helping us fund our vital work across the nation (and beyond).

And remember, you can’t spell ‘fundraising’ without ‘FUN’! So, always make sure you’re having a great time while raising pounds for our hounds.

Come check out some of the many ways you can get involved, and start making a difference for dogs today.
