They’ve got almost 50 bowling centres across the country. And now, Tenpin is coming to Manchester city centre.

The new opening at The Printworks will offer 12 interactive bowling lanes as well as computerised scoring screens and lanes with ramps and bumpers for all the family to enjoy.

And it’s not all about bowling. There’s also beer pong tables, shuffle board, arcade games, table tennis and American pool tables, as well as a karaoke room.

The colourful new venue is open until 1am Sunday to Wednesday, and until 2.30am Thursday to Saturday, so you can try everything and really make a night of it.

Cocktails are priced at £5.50 each or two for £9, so whether you fancy a whisky sour, a pornstar martini or a classic daiquiri, you can try a couple and get change from a tenner.

Or if you’d rather keep a clear head while you bowl, there’s a range of mocktails at £4 each.

Food, meanwhile, includes everything from wings and onion rings to burgers and dogs.

A special Northern Quarter burger includes a 6oz beef patty, Monterey Jack cheese, smoked bacon, pulled pork, BBQ and gravy for £7.95, while a Printworks burger is full of  buttermilk chicken, beef patty, crispy onions, mac ‘n’ cheese bites, BBQ sauce, smoked bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and ‘slaw (£9.95).

Or you could try the fully loaded cheeseburger nachos, smothered in strips of beef, bacon, burger cheese, burger sauce and tomato ketchup (£12.95).

Plant-based nachos, meanwhile come loaded with BBQ jackfruit or sticky quorn chicken, while vegans can also try a Moving Mountains burger (£8.95) with vegan cheese, topped with crispy onions and BBQ jackfruit in a vegan brioche roll.

Sharing desserts, meanwhile, include sugar-coated churros stuffed with caramel or mini jam doughnuts dusted with sugar, both served with warm milk chocolate for dipping.

Whatever you choose, it’s looking like a top new spot to eat, drink and play.

Tenpin opens in The Printworks, Withy Grove on Friday 18th September.
