Following the success of the first Friday Food Fight this spring, the team from B.EAT Street Manchester has brought its ever-changing food, drink and DJ line-up to Manchester’s Northern Quarter for ten summer weekend block parties.

“bringing the low and slow crusade
to Brownsfield Mill”

The opening weekend was teeming with Manchester’s foodies, but it marked a bit of a step on from Friday Food Fight and demonstrated how popular this kind of event could be on a more permanent basis.

Already grey and white hot, each weekend is curated by one of Manchester’s leading club nights; combining food from the best venues and street food heroes in the North and all washed down with an expertly selected range of craft beers, ciders and fresh cocktails.

If you’ve not yet managed to try out Red’s True Barbecue on Albert Square, this is your perfect opportunity. The authentic American smokehouse is uprooting its holy smokers and bringing the low and slow crusade to Brownsfield Mill. Expect its usual plates of glorious meats including pulled pork, Texas hot sausage and the best baby back ribs in town.

Other foodie outlets to try this weekend are:

Holy Basil ~ Thai with a twist. Forget bland green curries and dodgy fried rolls, get some spice in your life.

Eat ‘n’ Sweet ~ the sun is always shining when you chow down on this Caribbean street feast.

Coq O’The North ~ charcoal roasted rotisserie chicken that’s more than finger lickin’ good.

Las Paelleras ~ Giant paellas & tapas cooked from scratch using responsibly sourced ingredients

Love from the Streets ~ Chef cooked street food, constantly changing the menu, what’s cookin’ this time?

Viet Shack ~ Manchester’s fist ever Vietnamese shack serving up homemade, healthy and non~processed Viet food… with a modern twist!

Hungry Hombres ~ Tex-Mex street food, get some spice in your life!

Entry is FREE all night.
