Juniper, coriander seed, lemongrass and grapefruit.

Just three of the ingredients in Soap Opera, the new, exclusive gin from The Laundrette launching today in celebration of National Gin & Tonic Day.

Other bespoke ingredients include angelica, orris, tea, fennel, chamomile, pink peppercorn PLUS one secret botanical which gives the gin its unique, tannin taste.

Best served alongside Fever Tree, Soap Opera gin is recommended with elderflower tonic, grapefruit zest and pink peppercorns. Yum.

The Laundrette is famous for the Cocktails and Carbs offering at its First Street and Chorlton sites.

“We know our customers love gin so we teamed up with Portobello Road Gin to create a unique, floral gin, that works perfectly in our signature cocktails,” says Laundrette co-owner Jon Charles.

The perfect G&T needs a perfect plate to pair, so if you’re looking for a treat to go with your gin, why not try the signature Raspberry Screwball Cheesecake?

“The fresh raspberries in the desert compliment the botanicals in the gin,” says Jon.

G&T not your thing? That’s no excuse not to enjoy another gin cocktail.

Here are the Top 3 gin cocktails to try at The Laundrette this Gin & Tonic Day.
