The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester and Leeds is pleased to present José Franco & Company, who, for the second consecutive year in the United Kingdom, will delight us with their flamenco dance in their new project: “El Lienzo de mi Baile.”
Previously in the country, they presented works that aimed to break with conformity and established boundaries in artistic expression. This time, with their new project, they will dance, in the words of the creator of the show: “to experiences, to childhood, and to emotions. To laughter and tears, to unity, to family, and to solitude. To true friendship and to those left behind. To destiny, love, and nights of madness. To moments where everything was light and to those where darkness flooded our days, drawing on the canvas of my dance everything that made us happy without leaving behind what made us suffer and, at the same time, grow”.
