Gaucho already has a reputation for some of the most elegant drinking and dining experiences in Manchester. The cowhide-inspired soft-seating and luxurious leather booths are an inventive way to pay homage to the award-winning beef they serve.

And this Christmas they’ll be serving up unique Christmas cocktails which sound good enough to eat.

Under an art deco glass ceiling, looking out over the open kitchen, this really is a glamorous setting for those celebratory drinks. It’s a place which knows how to give you a good time and the Christmas cocktails designed by Gaucho’s Director of Bars Dan Munt are no exception. Drinks like Mince Pie Manhattan and Gingerbread Sour are enough to make Scrooge smile.

There are seven new Christmas cocktails in total –  one for every day of the week. Each incorporates the attention to detail and flair Gaucho is known for.

Port & Cranberry Martini combines Stolichnaya Gold vodka and Malamado shaken with cranberry preserve – Christmas dinner flavours like you’ve never tasted before!

Why not follow with an indulgent Maple & Pecan Old Fashioned – it’s like dessert but double the fun – featuring Jim Bean Double Oak Bourbon, maple syrup and chocolate bitters. A Mince Pie Manhattan is another sweet treat, combining bourbon with raisins, sultanas, apple and festive spices.

The Pomegranate Fizz gives you the chance to try some of the finest Chandon Argentine sparkling wine, shaken with pomegranate juice and rosemary syrup. Add to the authenticity by trying this alongside one of Gaucho’s signature grass-fed steaks with diners visiting specially just to sample the meat.

Whether you are drinking or dining, cocktails at Gaucho give a refreshing change from the usual cocktail bar experience. With further options including Slow Negroni – served with a clove-studded orange – Gingerbread Sour and Brandy Milk Punch, these are drinks you can enjoy in a historic venue, with glittering chandeliers and designer interiors.

The restaurant and bar also hosts a unique Electro Brunch every Saturday, which combines some of the most skilled DJs around with an unlimited selection of food.

Gaucho will also be serving up festive feasts, ideal for your office party or family gathering, with more details to be released soon.

Suddenly getting into the Christmas spirit early seems much more tempting.
