The champagne corks are popping, the diamond rings are dazzling, and the manicures are being sharpened. Yes, The Real Housewives of Cheshire are back, and returning for a tenth series starting this month.
The docu-drama, which follows the lives of the rich and famous ladies of the Cheshire Set, returns to ITVBe on Monday, September 9th at the new time of 9pm.
Once again we can expect to watch the dramas unfold in a variety of fabulous settings in some of Cheshire and Manchester’s hottest hotspots. And expect plenty more catfights and dinner parties taking place at the Housewives’ palatial mansions – all set within Cheshire’s Golden Triangle, the name given to the area bordered by Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury.
Here’s a look at where the eye-popping series is all filmed.
The Housewives’ Homes
The homes of the Real Housewives of Cheshire have been heavily featured over the past nine series, and we can expect to see more of the fabulous mansion houses in series ten.
Original housewife Dawn Ward has perhaps the most famous house of the show stars. She lives at Warford Hall in Great Warford near Alderley Edge with her ex-footballer hubby Ashley Ward and their four daughters – Taylor, Darby, Charlie and Aston. Since last year, Warford Hall has also been home to her fellow housewife, blonde bombshell Ester Dee. Much to Dawn’s annoyance, Ester keeps calling it “Watford Hall”.
Property entrepreneur and mum of five children Rachel Lugo lives in nearby Nether Alderley. Meanwhile Wilmslow is home to Tanya Bardsley, her Burnley footballer husband Phil Bardsley and their four children.
They recently returned to their glamorous mansion in the town after extensive repairs after a fire broke out on the roof last year.
Also in Wilmslow is yoga teacher Perla Navia, who runs her own yoga studio from the stunning modernist home she shares with husband Jonathan Barton.
Leafy Bowdon and Hale are the locations of the homes of Forever Unique fashion boss Seema Malhotra and dentist Hanna Miraftab.
The upmarket village’s London Road is a regular spot for filming for the ladies. Venues to have featured in recent series include Piccolino Italian restaurant, YU Chinese, Victors and the Bubble Room.
The village’s Ican personal fitness studio is also a popular haunt of the Housewives and has been used for filming on the new series.
Also watch out for the ladies browsing the designer fashions at the Coggles store on the main London Road.
The busy town centre is frequently used for all those lingering shots of diamond bling in jewellers’ windows, and supercars speeding through the streets past the Aston Martin garage on Water Lane.

We’re so lucky to see such beautiful sunsets at The Colony! . . So colourful, what a perfect backdrop 📸! #nofilter #perfection #sunset #architecture #membersclub #weddingvenue #cheshire #inspirationaldesign #interiordesign #inspo #cheshireweddingvenue #photos #scenery #wilmslow
Further along Water Lane you’ll also find The Colony HQ, a private members club and event space which has featured in past series for a host of the Housewives’ events, including Rachel Lugo’s birthday bash.
The Colony will turn up in series ten as the location for Hanna Miraftab’s Boss Women event.
And Wilmslow is also the location of a key fans’ mecca – Tanya Bardsley’s Tanya Bardo Boutique can be found on pedestrianised Grove Street.
This is where you’ll find Tanya’s inspirational giftware, candles and jewellery. It proved such a success when it first opened, that her entire stock sold out just two weeks later.
Mottram St Andrew
The village of Mottram St Andrew has been a Housewives hotspot thanks mainly to the plush Mottram Hall hotel, spa and golf club located here.
The ladies have filmed many hot tub scenes at the venue’s luxury spa venue, while the hotel’s event spaces have been used for a number of children’s birthday parties and events on the show.
The venue also recently played host to the engagement party for Dawn’s daughter Darby and her beau Michael Corrado Jackson, which is expected to feature in the upcoming tenth series.
And the hall is the setting for the first scene with new housewife, model Leilani Dowding, who will be seen with her boyfriend The Cult’s Billy Duffy roaring off on his motorbike as the couple discuss house-hunting in Cheshire at the start of series ten.

The bright lights of the big city feature regularly in the show, with the ladies often seen heading out to their big events at a host of Manchester’s celeb-haunt bars and restaurants.
Dirty Martini on Deansgate, The Bijou Club on Chapel Street, Impossible bar on Peter Street and the Peter Street Kitchen have all featured in recent series.
And for season ten expect some of the most eye-popping scenes at one of Manchester’s newest venues – Whiskey Down.
The risque burlesque club on Lloyd Street was the setting for a fetish-themed party hosted by Dawn’s best pals Nick Malenko and Royston Blythe. It saw many of the Housewives head out in skintight rubber and strappy ensembles to get into the swing of the theme – as seen with Ester Dee and guest Housewife Christine McGuinness (pictured above).
Meanwhile, Manchester Hall has been used as the regular setting for the now-traditional Reunion Show which airs at the end of each series.
The lavish interiors of the former Freemasons Hall have been the place where the fuming Housewives are all encouraged to air their grievances by Reunion Show host Brian Dowling.
Also look out for the spectacular roof terrace at Hotel Gotham in the opening episode of series ten – when the ladies catch up over champers, naturally, at the private members bar Club Brass.
We even get a bit of rock ‘n’ roll with the Northern Quarter’s Piccadilly Records featuring in the opening episode – where we see The Cult’s Billy Duffy talking about music with his girlfriend, new show star Leilani Dowding.
And if you’re wondering which of the glitzy Manchester venues is co-owned by fashion boss Seema, then wonder no more. It’s Menagerie, the glittering New Bailey bar that Seema co-owns with former Real Housewife Stacey Forsey and entrepreneur Karina Jadhav.
The ladies revealed in series six that they had invested into the bar, and a number of Housewives’ events have taken place and been filmed there over the years.
The bar is soon to celebrate its third anniversary – another part of the upcoming series ten to look out for.
Meanwhile Seema’s Forever Unique fashion brand will also be prominent in series ten. In the opening episode we will see bride-to-be Hanna with her bridesmaids trying on dresses at the fashion HQ – which is based on Cheetham Hill Road in Manchester.
Knutsford is also regularly used for filming by the Real Housewives team. The huge Lost and Found bar inside the historic former town hall was the location for Dawn’s big PR launch party in series nine which was attended by a host of stars including TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and Love Island’s Olivia Attwood.
Knutsford is also the home of Dawn and Rachel’s favourite cosmetic surgeon Dr Reza Nassab, who recently launched his own aesthetics and wellbeing clinic in the town. Dr Reza was the man behind Rachel’s “mummy makeover” – a breast augmentation and tummy tuck – that featured in series eight. And Dawn’s daughter Taylor recently revealed she had undergone a breast augmentation with Dr Reza earlier this year.
His CLNQ clinic will feature in series 10 when some of the ladies head for an infamous Vampire Facial here (that’s where blood is used to rejuvenate the face).

And the new series will open with a spectacular Midsummer Night’s Dream themed party which is at the historic Inglewood Manor, near Ellesmere Port.

Each season they jet off for a weekend trip together. In past seasons, exotic locations have included Dubai, Morocco, Gibraltar.
For series ten, the ladies will all be heading to Prague for Hanna’s hen do, ahead of her marriage to aesthetic doctor Martin Kinsella this summer. The Prague visit will also include a stop off at Ester’s hometown in the Czech Republic.
