Part of Northern Rail’s billion pound investment, Manchester Victoria’s new roof will allow natural light to fill the station, dramatically improving its look & feel.

Above all, transformation of the station will also boost capacity, providing more seats, on more trains, more often. It will also cut congestion and speed up your journey into and out of the city. A new section of railway will link all Manchester’s main train stations for the first time.

This £44million station redevelopment includes a redesigned Metrolink stop as well as a new mezzanine level and roof, while restoring and preserving the building’s Victorian heritage.

Works are expected to be completed by spring 2015.
