From Bundies to cocktails, local specialties to bites from the grill, Australians really know how to set taste trends with the finest detail but delivered in the most casual of ways.

Full to the brim with Aussie infusions that will make your mouth water, Walkabout Manchester’s new menu offers customers the chance to tickle their taste buds in a relaxing environment.

In the full knowledge that for many Mancunians spending time with your mates is a must, there are a host of sharing snacks to choose from like the Tin Can Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Sweetcorn Fritters with Maple Bacon and Double Chicken Wings.

For anyone wanting something more filling, the bar’s selection of burgers includes everything from a giant Waffle Stack to the legendary – really legendary – Roo Burger.

The Parmi menu, on the other hand, will satisfy anyone wanting something entirely different, giving an Aussie twist to an Italian classic. And for anyone who fancies finishing on a sweet note, the crazy selection of freak shakes on offer just can’t be ignored.

And the authentic taste of Australia doesn’t stop there. On the new drinks menu there’s something for everyone from craft beers and tinnies to Aussie wines and classic cocktails.

For a proper taste of the Aussie coast, why not try a Cherry Pop, their take on a classic which blends apple and cherry Sourz, grenadine, apple juice and passion fruit purée, topped off with a cherry.

The Tasmanian Devil is perfect for anyone who likes their drinks to pack a little punch – Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, grenadine, cranberry juice and apple juice, topped with a chilli to fire up those taste buds.

Sport is always a big deal at Walkabout, with a range of events and offers available all week, but there are plenty more reasons to visit, from party nights like 241 Thursday’s, Jack Friday’s and Selfie Saturdays to promotions like Wingabout Wednesday (order by the kilo for just eight quid) and an Aussie Lunch – a Monday – Friday deal where customers can get their hands on a lunch for six quid, including any dish and a selected drink from 12pm – 5pm

And if that’s not enough, Walkabout Manchester will also be running a series of local events every month. Watch this space.

See you in the queue for the Roo Burger.
