This weekend’s picks are an eclectic bunch.
For those who haven’t tried it, Breakout’s new room is a fail safe bet. Grab your woolies and your best pals and head down. Disturbed is the one to watch. Click here if you fancy booking in.
For those of you who don’t quite fancy breaking out of a locked room and planned on lazing around the house, stop it. Put the tin of Quality Street down, peel yourself off the sofa, and get yourself out into the city. Whether you fancy a full on party bash at Flash or you’re getting into the full on festive feels at Bar Hutte, there’s plenty to get your teeth into.

Bar Hutte at Spinningfields
It doesn’t get more winter warming than this. Come and experience a unique take on après-ski Manchester style. Flash Saturday at The Milton Club
Every Saturday, Flash takes over The Milton Club with show-stopping moments, production and theatrics to create a party with a pulse. Feel the energy with roof-raising party anthems alongside music video mash-ups from old skool throwbacks to your favourite floor-fillers and guilty pleasures. Flash is the night you’ll want to relive, where good times make the best memories, so leave your expectations at the door. Expect surprise shows and plenty of crowd moments, confetti cannons and special effects, music video screens, guest DJ’s and all sorts of eclectic acts. Manchester Animation Festival Family Day
The Manchester Animation Festival takes place at HOME from 14 – 16 November 2017. Family Day will run this Sunday ahead of the main festival and offers a whole host of children’s animation favourites and quirky activities. Screenings include episodes of beloved TV shows and a special preview of the new CBBC show Dennis and Gnasher. There will also be short films including We’re Going On A Bear Hunt and a full feature film, The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales. Activities include Scream Street themed stop-frame animation workshops from Animation Nation, amongst other engaging and fun activities for kids. Grab your tickets here.
