This weekend is the one. Whether you fancy a Manchester cruise with a side of swing music or a Christmas Makers Market, we’ve got you covered. There’s also the Lazy Lizard opening party for those who want a Saturday night with a side of Ibiza beats.

Here’s this weekend’s three to see in no particular order.

Magical Makers Market at Lowry Outlet

Three to see this weekend: a magical market, a swinging cruise, and beating the Ibiza blues I Love Manchester

Set to be super-cosy and full of Christmas charm, the Magical Makers Market will be at Lowry Outlet this weekend. Located on the ground floor near the Waterside Entrance, the event will be indoor for the first time and will feature specially selected local artisans who source, grow, bake, make, and create all of the products they sell, which ensures their goods are unique, original and designed to inspire. Open 11am-5pm, get in the festive spirit with a fantastic line-up of food, drink, arts and crafts. Manchester River Cruise’s Swinging Rat Pack Night

This show brings back a time when drinking, music and having fun went hand in hand. Join the cruise for a night of cool swing and some gloriously golden Rat Pack vibes from Russell Shaun. Shaun is a wedding singer with swing coursing through his veins. Expect renditions of songs by legends such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and Nat King Cole. You’ll be fed and watered all night long with a glass of prosecco on arrival and delicious canapés served throughout the evening. Russell will put on a show that celebrates and re-creates the magic of The Rat Pack and will have you dancing in the aisles as the city drifts by across the water.

Lazy Lizard Opening Parties

Superstar DJ Erick Morillo will headline the first in a string of opening parties at Manchester’s newest nightspot. Promising to bring a slice of Ibiza’s hedonistic nightlife to the city, Lazy Lizard launches its party nights. They’ll be kicking off at The Printworks this Wednesday and all weekend long. Columbian-American DJ and producer Morillo will get the party started on the opening night with a house and tech house set, supported by a line-up of Ibiza residents including Pete Gooding (Café Mambo), Oliver Lang (Bora Bora), Steve Valverde (Es Paradis) and E.M.A (featuring Girl on Sax). If you’re fancying a little Ibiza sunshine and laid back vibes of techno, deep and classic house but can’t quite afford the flight, this place is the next best thing. Click here for more info.
