Stepping into Victoria Warehouse takes you back to a different time in Manchester’s history. An events space, or series of spaces, with a difference. Nothing boring or ordinary to be found here. No sir.

Endorsed by the likes of Topshop, Facebook, Netflix, BMW, L’Oreal and Heineken, if you’re looking to host an event with a difference, Victoria Warehouse is the venue for you.

Built in the early 1900’s as the Liverpool Warehousing Company, the warehouses have long stood as a symbol of Manchester’s industrial strength and innovation. Careful renovations have made features out of the exposed brick walls, steel columns and original warehouse markings to cultivate a luxe, industrial chic atmosphere inside the historic buildings.

Whether you’re looking to organise a small meeting of 10 or a large-scale do, there’s a range of distinctive and special spaces on offer each with its own character and personality.

What’s more, their experienced team make it their business to sweat the small stuff so you don’t have to. You can book with full confidence that your vision will be executed flawlessly.

The Cellars

The Cellars provide a dramatic setting with luxe industrial decor and atmospheric lighting. Seating up to 170 guests banqueting-style, or a maximum of 300 guests for a reception, this space comes with its own inclusive PA system and can also be set up theatre or cabaret-style if you so desire.

It also connects to adjacent basement space The Archives which, when taken together, provides you with four extra sections of private and adaptable space, making it a popular choice for corporate events such as meetings, conferences, business breakfasts and training seminars.

Victoria Warehouse also offers an all-inclusive delegate package, covering all the necessaries like AV, lunch, refreshments and stationery.

The Archives

The Archives is a refurbished basement space with some serious industrial charm. Its exposed brickwork and statement flooring provide an exciting and unconventional setting, so it’s no surprise that this space has played host to many exhibitions and award dinners over the years. It is also a popular choice for drinks receptions, networking events, conferences and meetings.

The Bays

Used originally to house cotton stock, then later as storage space for Kelloggs, McVities and Cadburys, here lies the heart of the buildings rich history. Comprised of two adjoining areas that total over 700sqm, The Bays are Victoria Warehouse’s most popular event space.

This history is still evident today, making it an iconic choice for corporate and showcase events. A large pre-function space kitted out with a feature bar leads into the main room, offering an ideal transition if you’re looking to move from a drinks reception into a banquet or theatre-style set up.

The Bays also comes complete with a full AV package, including screens and projectors, colour-changing down lighters on the pillars.

The Cinema

Perfect for small groups, The Cinema holds up to 20 guests for theatre-style screenings, parties and presentations.

This quirky little space has a luxuriant, retro feel to it. Fitted out with seating salvaged from an old theatre on the outskirts of Manchester, its vintage setting makes it perfect for film screenings and parties. Also functioning as an intimate presentation space, The Cinema offers up a unique way to kick-off your next team meeting.

The Skyhook

The smallest of the Victoria Warehouse spaces, The Skyhook holds a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 70 guests.

Named after the Trafford Park chain sculpture, which can be seen through The Skyhook’s floor-to-ceiling windows, the well-lit space is the perfect setting for your next informal team meeting, workshop, discussion or presentation. It also makes an ideal breakout space for larger conferences, with adjoining doors that connect The Skyhook to larger space The Bays.

Come the evening, the room’s floor-to-ceiling windows provide an incredible backdrop to your event with the Manchester city skyline in full view. The Skyhook’s large feature windows and bespoke furniture also make it perfect for intimate drinks receptions.

The Cotton Sheds

Exemplifying Victoria Warehouse’s signature industrial chic aesthetic with exposed brickwork and other original features running throughout, The Cotton Sheds are by far Victoria Warehouse’s largest and most dramatic events space.

Built back in 1925 as a cotton warehouse and spanning 4,533sqm, each shed varies in size and shape and can be adapted for different uses as breakout rooms, exhibition spaces or separate catering areas.

These spaces have played host to an array of launches, dinners, sporting events, conferences and music shows produced by top brands including Nike, Topshop, The Northern Powerhouse Partnership, Jeep and Heineken over the years.

With many as eight separate areas and room for up to 5,000 people, for large-scale events The Cotton Sheds are king with features including a large VIP mezzanine, full venue branding opportunities, additional sheds to create multiple breakout areas, backstage production offices and crew rooms and drive-in access through the entire ground floor.

A five minute walk from Old Trafford and a ten minute drive to the city centre, this completely unique and innovative venue not only oozes character but lays claim to being Manchester’s only industrial wedding venue. Get in touch to speak with their top-notch team about your next event today.
