Temporary tattoos featuring the worker bee and I Love MCR icons are on sale to raise money for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund – and this weekend you’ll be able to pick them up from Manchester Arndale Centre.

A tattoo transfer is the opportunity to wear a symbol of the city with pride – without the pain of a real tattoo! Many people have been getting worker bee tattoos in recent weeks, including Ariana Grande.

The temporary tattoos are great for children and a chance to be part of the public show of solidarity.

A kiosk selling the tattoo transfers will be located upstairs in The Arndale Centre opposite NEXT and River Island on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July.

Famous names including Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Noel Gallagher, JK Rowling, Shay Given and Vincent Kompany are some of the most recent to show their support for the promotion.

The tattoo transfers are easy to apply and remove using warm soapy water and are the only official temporary tattoos available.

A pack of four tattoos, created in association with www.funstickers.com, is just £2 and all profits go to the We Love MCR and British Red Cross Emergency Fund set up to help support victims of the 22nd May Manchester Arena Terror attack and their families.

They will also be sold at the intu Trafford Centre and Altrincham Shopping Centre from 8th July. And don’t worry if you can’t get to the stores to pick up yours – they can be purchased online here.

Your pride isn’t temporary! Tweet a pic showing off your tattoo to @ILoveMCR and be part of showing some Manchester pride.
