Dirty Martini cocktail bar to open in Manchester this summer

London-based cocktail chain Dirty Martini is to open a bar in Manchester this summer.

Owners CG Restaurants & Bars have acquired 211 – 217 Deansgate subject to conditions at  from Bruntwood Estates Ltd. The group plan to invest £1.5M in the conversion of the 6,700 sq foot three floor retail and office space.

Dirty Martini is renowned for its  bespoke range of martinis, premium cocktails and glamorous interiors. The Manchester site will become the tenth site in its portfolio. CG Restaurants & Bars have taken the brand from a 1,200 square foot basement in Covent Garden to a nine strong group with eight sites in London and one in Cardiff.

Chief executive Scott Matthews said, “We are excited about opening our first site outside London in the North, in Manchester. Our recent expansion in Cardiff has been a huge success, and as a result we are progressing with our national expansion strategy with confidence.”
