Following on from the success of its first taster menu, James Martin Manchester at Manchester235 is offering a new six course taster menu on Sundays (excluding bank holidays).
“…a twist of skilled experimentation.”
The new menu, which runs from 5pm until 11pm, costs £45 per person and includes tea and coffee.
It’s a taster, grazing menu. It’s not for those who like one big hearty main course. The menu is some of the Saturday Kitchen TV chef’s favourite dishes with a twist of skilled experimentation. It’s all about the taste of each mouthful. Rich, colourful and flavoursome.
Service is excellent. Liam, the restaurant floor manager, is especially attentive. He’s like a hawk – always available to swoop in and attend to your request. The decor is very fitting. Like the menu, it’s traditional with a modern twist and makes the most of the beautiful Great Northern Warehouse brick ceiling.
James Martin may not be there often but he’s left his recipe and routine in the very capable hands of head chef Dougie Crampton.
“I’m really looking forward to working on some new dishes and using new techniques with the team.” Said Dougie. “The 6 course taster menu we ran in January went down a treat with customers and we’re confident that this menu will do the same.”
There are a number of additional events lined up at James Martin Manchester throughout March and April, including The Wine Series on Tuesday, March 18th and The Meat Series on Thursday, April 10th.
