Signature Steakhouse is one of the leading lights of the south Manchester food scene with an impressive range of modern British dishes that warrants repeat visits to explore the ideas and creations of the accomplished kitchen staff.

And September sees yet more reasons to visit, with an impressive offer for hungry visitors.

Taking inspiration from the Eat Out to Help Out initiative, September sees the restaurant at Trafford Hall Hotel apply the same 50% discount for meals booked from 12pm to 5pm. But as an added extra, this even applies to all drinks – a welcome money-saving addition you’ll struggle to find elsewhere.

Prefer to eat later? Evening diners can enjoy a 30% reduction to their total bill, from 5pm to 10pm, again including all drinks.

We were wildly impressed with the hearty fare on offer during our March visit, with the eye-bulgingly large t-bone steak coming in for particular praise.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a steak as big and as juicy as this in inner-city Manchester, both sections cooked exactly how a great steak should be (medium-rare, of course), with a tongue-tingling salty exterior and beautifully pink inside.

The steak comes highly-recommend, serving as the centrepiece for Trafford Hall Hotel’s Signature Steakhouse restaurant, but there’s plenty of other options on the menu.

The burgers are fantastic, made from top-quality beef and packed with flavour, with sides including enormous thick-cut chips – fluffy and light inside with a perfect golden-brown crunchy coating.

Looking to avoid meat? The Signature Steakhouse menu has you covered, with some carefully-crafted vegan options.

But there’s more to Trafford Hall Hotel than this. The 1887 Sports Bar and Cafe is a friendly sports bar where you can catch the latest big match while enjoying a refreshing pint or eye-catching cocktail.

It’s the perfect stop-off point for a pre-match drink if you’re off to Old Trafford (both the cricket ground and football stadium are just a couple of minutes away) or to relax after a day shopping at the Trafford Centre.

The restaurant is just one part of the four-star Trafford Hall Hotel. The luxurious rooms have been recently renovated, making them even more sumptuous than before, and there are well-equipped function rooms, ideal for work meetings or social events.

The Victorian building makes a perfect backdrop for weddings too, especially the glorious grand staircase. These can all be expertly curated by the in-house team of event planners.

It’s hard to think of a more appealing destination than the Trafford Hall Hotel. With its excellent transport links, it’s at the heart of what’s great about Manchester.

And the September offers makes it an ideal place to visit over the next few weeks, whether to try one of your favourite dishes or try something new at a pocket-friendly price point.

Our advice? When it comes to quality, taste and wow factor, the mighty t-bone steak is an absolute must.
