Discover top secret Manchester speakeasies at this epic two-day cocktail festival

A huge two-day cocktail festival is taking place in Manchester this weekend featuring new and exclusive cocktails from some of the city’s greatest bars – and I Love MCR has secured a limited guest list for our readers.

GUESTLIST

It’s taking place in the epic surroundings of Manchester’s newest event space, The Viadux, with bespoke drinks mixed by secret Manchester bars Wood and Company, Speak in Code, Science + Industry, Arcane, Blind Tyger and The Washhouse.

Music lovers will also be treated to the decadent sounds of disco courtesy of La Petit Discotheque voted Manchester’s best club night and live acoustic performances from Dean Mac if they can locate the secret bar hosted by ONE EIGHT SIX – a new cocktail lounge and live music venue opening shortly.

A total of 18 bars taking part, with more drinks coming from Dishoom, The Alchemist, The Botanist, Flight Club, Tattu, The Whiskey Jar, 7 Sins, 20 Stories and Blank Canvas.

New additions this year include the double-decker La Fée Absinthe Bus and the Stylist Loves Laurent-Perrier Champagne bar featuring a selection of champagne cocktails created by the city’s leading female bartenders from Tattu, Wilderness Bar + Kitchen and Grand Pacific.

On top of all this, there will be tasting rooms and interactive bar experiences running throughout the course of the weekend.

Learn how to make the perfect Old Fashioned with secret Manchester bar Blind Tyger, delve into the New York cocktail scene with Manahatta, or unlock the natural beauty of Wolf at the Door’s (previously Wilderness Bar + Kitchen) stunning new cocktail menu Aperture.

It all takes place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October. Tickets are just £12.50 and include a cocktail on arrival.
