Roxy Ball Room Deansgate has officially reopened its doors following a slick summer refurbishment, bringing with it a whole new world of games, a refreshed and revamped interior and we can’t not mention their great selection of booze and bites.
The two-storey venue, which first landed in the city back in 2017, has always been a favourite for post-work hangouts and weekend antics. But now, thanks to a top-to-bottom refresh, it’s raised the stakes.
What’s happening at Roxy Ball Room?

Upstairs, punters can expect a killer new lineup: from classic American pool and duck pin bowling to two-way beer pong and a glammed-up bar area.

There’s also the arrival of crazy pool, a madcap mashup of mini golf and pool where players use cues to navigate a tabletop full of golf-style obstacles.
Invented during lockdown in the Roxy team’s Leeds warehouse, this chaotic crowd-pleaser has already earned cult status over at their Arndale site, and is now making its Deansgate debut.

Downstairs, things get even more competitive. We’re talking tech darts, ping pong, shuffleboard, five new American pool tables and not one but two karaoke rooms — because nothing says team bonding (or late-night chaos) like belting out ‘Mr Brightside’ with your mates.

And if you’re in the mood to test your pipes over pancakes and prosecco, the venue’s much-loved karaoke bottomless brunch is launching this summer too.
Joel Mitchell, Roxy Leisure
“We wanted to say thank you to our amazing guests,” said Joel Mitchell, Marketing Director at Roxy Leisure. “The support over the past few years has been phenomenal, and it felt right to reward that with even more of what people love, games, music, cocktails, and a space that’s all about letting loose.”
Roxy Ball Room Deansgate and Arndale
With two Roxy Ball Room venues now open in Manchester, Deansgate and Arndale, the city’s become a mini mecca for competitive socialising. Whether you’re in it for a bottomless brunch, a spontaneous sing-along, or a six-hour pool tournament, there are now even more ways to get your game on.
So if you’re looking for a spot to let your hair down this summer, this could be your new go-to. Game on.
