British luxury lifestyle brand Mulberry is opening a new store at The Royal Exchange Manchester.

The store is set to open on Thursday 29th September, in the Grade II listed building. Mulberry’s new space boasts sumptuous, tactile interiors, in line with Mulberry’s store concept, featuring furnishings inspired by the natural textures of the English countryside, in homage to the brand’s rich British heritage.

With a focus on modern, sustainable luxury, the store will offer Mulberry’s iconic women’s and men’s bags and accessories, along with seasonal collections and a selection of pre-loved Mulberry bags as part of the Mulberry Exchange, the brand’s circular economy programme.

The Mulberry Exchange is a suite of services; inviting customers to have their Mulberry bags authenticated and expertly restored, with the opportunity to trade in their existing bag for credit towards either a new purchase, or a pre-loved style, ensuring that each and every Mulberry bag can have many lives.

Mulberry will be the newest addition to complement the retail offering at The Royal Exchange, adding to its diverse range of premium independent boutique stores and established brands, along with its popular cafes and restaurants.

For the first four days of opening, Mulberry will offer SS23 collection themed cookies in store for visiting customers.

The Royal Exchange was acquired in November 2016 by international real estate firm Hines on behalf of Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK), Germany’s largest pension scheme group. Since then, Hines has been delivering on its promise to diversify the tenant mix and reposition the iconic landmark as a prestigious location in Manchester’s retail landscape, bringing in brands such as French Connection, Sostrene Grene, Watches of Switzerland, Michaels coffeehouse, Lanigan & Hulme, Origin Kicks, The Remedy Kitchen, Amaranth Health & Beauty, lululemon, Paper Kisses of Manchester, Fjallraven Manchester and Yards Store.
