StreetCars is currently Manchester’s largest private hire taxi supplier and is continuing to grow daily, offering 24/7 transport around the Manchester area. They pride themselves on their ability to remain eco-friendly, providing hybrid cars with huge environmental advantages, paperless invoices and even intelligent GPS systems which reduce mileage by 20%.

StreetCars put their passengers first, offering the same metered tariff in every car, even on bank holidays, so you don’t need to worry about any surprise fares. They also offer discounted fares for long journeys, and set fares for popular destinations, such as Manchester Airport, Old Trafford and City Stadium, so you always know how much cash to bring with you on match day.

This Manchester taxi service is entering the new technological age, offering easy-to-use online forms to book your taxi, and even has its own app! Each platform lets you choose your pick-up and drop-off location, date, time, number of passengers, and even lets you select whether you will be travelling with luggage or not.

Their new app, available on both apple and android devices, allows you to book a taxi whenever and wherever you may be, with an option to follow and track your car as it makes its way to you. StreetCars continue to be innovative and thinking of new ways to offer an easy ride for their customers, and will soon be introducing a top-up card.

Calling all students! StreetCars have officially teamed up with the University of Manchester Students Union, Manchester Metropolitan University Students Union, Salford University Students Union and the Royal Northern College of Music to offer students a 10% discount off their metres fare (with a valid University card).

The company have also set up a new ‘Manchester SU Safe Taxi Scheme’, available for students from the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University. This Scheme allows you to get home even when you have no money! Simply hand your driver your student card and ask for a receipt. The next day, pick up your student card from your student union in exchange for your fare. Perfect for those worst case scenarios.
