The announcement follows the revelation from organisers that BBK spitter JME will bring his Grime MC FM show to Heaton Parkl this summer.

Manchester rapper Aitch, who hit the headlines this summer when he was spotted filming in New Moston with none other than Ed Sheeran, has also been confirmed on the bill.

Further Manchester artists on the bill include Black Josh, Johnny Dub, Rich Reason, Will Tramp, Krysko and Greg Lord.

Parklife 2020 will be Tyler, the Creator’s first solo headline UK show outside of London, and will be his first in the country for five years after Theresa May banned him from the UK during her time as Home Secretary due to lyrics on his album Bastard and Goblin.

Spread across eight stages, the festival’s 2020 edition is set to take place on 13th-14th June at its Heaton Park home.

Now one of the UK’s most famous music festivals, it has built a strong following for its diverse bookings that span hip-hop, grime and indie through to house, techno, drum and bass and more.

Tickets and coaches to Parklife 2020 will be going on general sale on Festicket at 9am on Thursday 30th January. General admission weekend tickets start from £125, with day tickets at £69.50.
