For those who love a good cuppa, there’s a new tea cafe launching in Manchester.

But you can expect plenty of new twists on the traditional cup of char over at Tealive which opens on Mosley Street in the city centre today (Friday, May 17th).

The Malaysian brand which has 240 outlets globally, is opening its first ever cafe in Europe   here in Manchester, bringing with it its famous bubble teas, milk tea with caramel pearls,   Matcha Latte with red bean and refreshing fresh fruity iced teas with fruit pulp.

Tealive say its mission is to bring tea to life, but also bring life to tea. They are promising to bring some joy and excitement to our day, with a modern and fresh twist on the traditional tea culture we all love.

And to celebrate the Manchester launch, there’s a buy-one-get-one-free offer on all teas on Friday May 17th.

Talking about the decision to bring the brand here, manager Samantha Moorhouse says Manchester represents a perfect starting opportunity for the business.

“Manchester is a city with a lot of culture and diversity –  two of many things that Tealive celebrates. Manchester is truly a special city and we cannot wait to share our tea with everyone here.

“We’re always trying new things, and coming up with something fresh! But you can certainly expect more stores across the United Kingdom in the very near future. We have chosen Manchester to be our gateway into Europe and we cannot wait to share our drinks with everyone.”

Tealive opens on 58 Mosley Street on Friday, May 17th from 11.30am.
