Qbic already has hotels in London, Brussels and Amsterdam, and now Manchester will join the group with a new opening in April (subject to national restrictions).

To celebrate the launch, Qbic is throwing open its doors to the people of Manchester and searching for 100 locals to give the hotel a test run.

The chosen testers can share their feedback and recommendations helping to ensure this new local hangout makes the grade.

Aspiring testers can sign up detailing why they are a perfect fit for the job – and if selected, you’ll enjoy a complimentary night’s stay at the central Deansgate location with a plus one.

Testers will enjoy dinner on the house at Motley Social House, a 180-cover all-day restaurant that offers locally sourced produce and seasonal specials built for sharing, wake up in a king-sized bed and feast on a delicious breakfast.

The 261 innovative, pet-friendly rooms boast stylish and savvy decor, high-speed WiFi, water-efficient power showers, sustainable toiletries and complimentary tea and coffee.

Featuring karaoke and private dining rooms as well as a cracking cocktail list, Motley Social House also has an outside seating area able to accommodate up to 70 people.

And fitness enthusiasts will love the complimentary access to Trib3 gym available on site, while professionals can make Qbic Manchester their meetings space of choice with access to five private meeting rooms, all equipped with TVs and video conferencing facilities.

Committed to reducing impact on the environment, the London and Amsterdam hotels have been applauded for their green creds with solar panels, electric car charging points, responsible cleaning materials and sustainable and renewable mattresses.

All the lighting throughout is LED and energy efficient, the roof solar panels are a constant source of green energy and the showers feature an innovative eco-friendly design that creates a water-efficient high-pressure shower.

The Qbic Coin concept rewards those who do not need their rooms cleaned on a daily basis with free drinks.

Qbic Manchester, the latest addition to Qbic’s portfolio of hotels mixing great design, sustainability, affordability and community initiatives, will open on Deansgate in April 2021 (subject to national restrictions), with rates starting from £63 per night for a small double.

To apply to be a tester, visit qbichotels.com/manchester/100testers. Entries close on 28th February 2021 with winners contacted in March 2021.
