Eagerly anticipated neighbourhood hang-out The Daisy is to open its doors on 1st February 2018.

The new co-working space and lounge below Evelyn’s on Tib Street will provide the perfect location to work remotely whilst enjoying a cup of Ozone coffee by day, with live music, cocktails and one of Manchester’s most unique wine lists curated by Newcomer Wines’ Peter Honegger by night.

The interior will combine relaxed styling with an industrial chic French presence,  reclaimed furniture and mosaic monochrome tiles to create a casual eclectic environment.

“London has many of these types of member venues and I think it will work really well here,” says founder Sax Arshad, who is also the man behind Mughli and whose family owned Jimmy’s night club in the late 70’s.

“Soho House recently pulled back on bringing a ‘house’ to Manchester and replaced it with a diner style operation, or so I’ve heard. One day I would love to work on that style of hotel, bar and restaurant operation.

“The Smithfield Buildings are iconic and well-known in Manchester. Using the industrial features in the basement, we worked to enhance it with a natural ‘upgrade’ rather than a forced one. The intimate two floors will hopefully make you forget about the time, and spend the entire day there.”

Following the launch on 1st February, The Daisy NQ will host an open month when visitors are welcome to check out the new venue. Membership benefits will only be available to paying members during the open month.

The Daisy NQ will be open daily Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and evenings Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm till late.
