New bridal holiday consultancy caters for swans not hens

A swan is born, courtesy of Manchester PR girl Zeri Burt-Skeete, who has launched a new luxury bridal holiday consultancy catering for sexy, sassy swans, instead of tacky, cheesy hens.

She came up with the idea for Swan Parties whilst researching where to go for her own bridal celebrations and struggled to find somewhere that delivered a more luxurious upmarket service. Her love of travel, entertainment and opulent surroundings just weren’t covered by existing businesses.

“‘I wanted to take my bridal party to a luxury destination that was high end and sophisticated,” says Zeri.

“I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places around the world and didn’t want my bridal party celebrations abroad to be compromised.

“Whilst looking online for a company to book this through, I was disappointed to see that a lot of them couldn’t offer what I was looking for. Strippers, shots and suspenders didn’t excite me, but beach clubs, private dining and personal shopping trip did! That’s when I realised that whilst I was planning my Swan Party, I could turn this into a business.”

Spotting this gap in the market, and wanting to provide a service for like minded brides-to- be, she launched Swan Parties earlier this month, showcasing eight luxury destinations – Las Vegas, New York, Dubai, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Cannes and Marbella.

Swan Parties will work with ATOL protected travel agents who will find flights and accommodation in five star resorts, tables at some of the top bars and restaurants in the world, and activities such as yacht hire, beach clubs and helicopter rides.

“I started my business plan 12 weeks ago and I’ve not been able to put it down. In this time, I have mastered relationships with some of the most reputable brands and companies in fashion, beauty, travel and leisure and I’m very excited about Swan Parties gliding into Summer 2017!”
