Taking place at its home at Leftbank, Spinningfields, the Manchester Duck Race is back for its seventh year on Good Friday, 25 March.

There’s a whole host of activity set to take place across the estate, to entertain the thousands of families that come down to watch their rubber ducks race along the Spinningfields stretch of the River Irwell.

The fun begins at 11am with ducky craft workshops, fairground rides and street food from some of Manchester’s favourite street food traders at The Kitchens. Taking place at both Spinningfields and New Bailey (just across the River Irwell).

The rubber ducks swim their little hearts out at 2pm, with loads of great prizes up for grabs in both the family and corporate races.

Family ducks are only £1; whilst corporate ducks are £225+VAT (corporates are entered into the much-loved Best Dressed Duck competition). All proceeds go to Brainwave, a local children’s charity which is very close to Spinningfields’ heart.
