Love your body: enjoy a Valentine’s Day dinner at Manchester’s first free-from restaurant

Popular free-from city centre cafe 3Squared is helping Mancunians avoid all the bad stuff that actually has a bigger impact on the body than you’d think.

3Squared has launched a Valentine’s Day menu for loved up couples, first daters or friends looking to take care of their mind, body and soul. Tuck into a delicious two or three course meal while steering clear of all the nasty additives we could all really do without.

With inflammatory and foods containing refined sugar causing the body undue stress, you have the opportunity to be good to yourself and your loved one – and it may even improve your love life along the way.

3Squared’s Valentine’s Day menu boasts a selection of meat based dishes and vegan friendly options alongside their gluten-, dairy- and wheat-free offerings, so there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Start off the evening tucking into some mouth-watering salmon & sweet potato fish cakes with pickled vegetables and cress – or a hearty tomato and basil soup with warm, crusty freshly baked bread.

Then prepare for a taste explosion with a choice of drool worthy honey-sesame chicken thighs, oriental vegetables, black rice, orange dressing – refreshing poached salmon, courgette, basil and avocado pesto or a scrumptious lemon and white bean risotto for your main meal.

And finish the evening off by indulging in some naughty but nice sweet treats with chocolate mousse, baked apple and cinnamon crumble, served with ice cream and some complimentary white chocolate truffles on offer – because naughty food doesn’t mean it has to be bad for you.

Light on the body and ideal for optimum mental and physical functions, you’re guaranteed not to be left slumped in your chair at the end of the evening from over indulging on the bad stuff. Your stomach will thank you later.

Costing £18.95 for two courses or £22.95 for three courses – the Valentine’s Day menu is available from 6pm – 9:30pm – by reservation only.
