Join Manchester Collective at Stockport restaurant Where The Light Gets In for the first in a set of intimate, sensory performances.
'Voice of the Whale' brings together a strange and unsettling set of otherworldly music – from a meditative seascape for live electronics and strings, to an avant-garde masterpiece inspired by a 1960s recording of the sounds emitted by the humpback whale.
Limited to an audience of 35, this is more of a house concert than a normal gig – an opportunity to get up and close to the musicians, and share in this special experience. The ticket price includes a glass of natural wine or non-alcoholic beverage and a small bite to eat, made with freshly picked produce from the WTLGI garden. After the show, there’ll be the chance to have a chat and a drink with the musicians.
There is a 2pm and a 5pm performance. Each show will last just over an hour.
