To mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Trafford Centre will host a day full of celebrations on Thursday 2nd June between 12pm & 10pm.
Trafford Centre aims to integrate and inspire the local community to unite and celebrate the Queen’s 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms, and the Commonwealth; honouring this iconic milestone with festivities including dancing, music, children’s entertainment, and the traditional lighting of beacons.
Between 12:00 and 15:00 Trafford Centre will come alive for a Tea Dance, bringing all age groups together to take part in contemporary and traditional dances to iconic numbers including Elton John, Spice Girls and Queen. This lively and heart-warming entertainment will be performed by the Miss Joanne Farnell School of Dancing on the main stage located in The Orient - open to members of the public, of all ages, to watch and enjoy.

Location: Main Stage in The Orient
The Jubilee Beacons: Girlguiding
Time: entertainment from 19:00 and official beacon lighting to be lit at approximately 21:50
