‘Stage Directions’ is a large scale theatre making project in Salford for Children and Young People in Salford. Funded by DCMS, Arts Council (Youth Performance Partnership Fund) and organisations within Salford, this programme has engaged with and will continue to work with thousands of Children and Young People in all aspects of Theatre-Making.
We work closely with Salford’s Cultural Education Partnerships to grow the landscape of creative practitioners and artists in the city.
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for a Stage Directions Programme Producer to co-ordinate all aspects of the project working alongside organisations including: BBC North, Walk The Plank, University of Salford, Salford Community Leisure, Curious Minds, Salford City Council, National Theatre and Opera North.
The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and creativity to working with diverse groups including children and young people. Excellent project coordination and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of the local area, Salford, the communities, key agencies and networks is desirable.
