We are looking for a Producer (Duty Editor) to assist in the management of the Digital Portfolio Editorial team. You will inspire staff to work dynamically and collaboratively to source, curate and occasionally develop content in ways that deliver maximum value to visitors to BBC.co.uk.
You will have a strong editorial background (e.g. experience of curating, commissioning, producing or editing content).
You’ll also have excellent organisational and operational skills that have been acquired in a fast-moving editorial business. You’ll have experience of working with rotas. You’ll be committed to creating the conditions for staff to work at their best, and to develop and thrive at work.
You’ll live the BBC values, and demonstrate clear understanding and commitment to its public purposes.
You will feel comfortable conveying your ideas to a wide range of people across different levels within the business.
You'll build relationships with content makers and various stakeholders to source and surface the right content to relevant audiences. You will also be required to work with editorial and digital product teams to define how content is presented to audiences.
