MinutesActors Shona and Christian are performing in a “gritty” re-enactment for a true crime documentary. Shona plays the ex-partner of a violent sex offender and murderer. Christian plays the sex offender and murderer. As the two actors develop an undeniable attraction to one other, unsavoury questions hang unanswered in the air.
Taking place on an imaginary film set, this vital new play from Manchester theatre company Dangerous To Know explores how we can be role models, allies, spontaneous romantics and potential victims all at once.
Written by Caroline Lamb, directed by Helen Parry and performed as part of the Greater Manchester Fringe, On Me delves into some unique and uncomfortable questions with a combination of sensitivity, bare-faced honesty and surprising moments of humour.
