Steeped in Manchester history, this 3-floor former bank provides the perfect backdrop for exhibiting the best of the rainy city's home-grown creative talent, from artists to photographers to furniture makers.
Den Living has bedecked this decadent building with collections of quirky yet quality furniture pieces, all handcrafted with love at the brand's mill in Bury. Manchester's most famed artists will be adorning the walls with curated collections of canvases and prints. Artists exhibiting include acclaimed artist Amy Coney, known for her Bee Live in MCR artwork signed by A-listers The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and the Gallagher brothers. Jamie Green, the winner of Sky's Portrait Artist of the year, has an eclectic collection of homeware on show along with Sasha Ray, Paul Crugington, abstract artist Debbie Kershaw, urban artists Pete Obsolete and Dave Draws and many more. In a spectacular fusion of music and art, this Tuesday, July 6th 2021, from 1 pm-5 pm, shoppers can enjoy the sounds of Stevie Wonder while browsing courtesy of Manchester's The Untold Orchestra. This home-grown collective will be taking over the second floor of this decadent venue for a socially distanced rehearsal ahead of what promises to be a sell-out show at Manchester's iconic Albert Hall.
Based at 25 King Street, opposite El Gato, Den Pops Up will run until August 25th 2021 and is open to the public 11am-5 pm Monday- Wednesday, 12-8 pm Thursday, 11 am-5 pm Friday-Saturday.
