Why not grab a unique arty piece for your home or a gift for a loved one (or even just for you)? This art fair only features the work of creatives living and/or working in the Greater Manchester region, making sure that they promote the finest, local talent this incredible city has to offer.
At the Summer Edition, Cotton On MCR will be hosting their first ever, drop-in style arts and crafts workshop. Here, the participants have the choice as to what medium they use! You can decide if you wish to learn how to use watercolour paints, or how to draw with pencils, or how to paint with acrylics – it’s up to you!
Our tutor will be on hand to guide and teach the attendees on how to work these mediums, no matter which one you pick. There will be a still life setting on hand for them to study, with worksheets to follow also. This drop-in workshop means it doesn't matter what time you come to the Art All Dayer, you can still take part in the workshop and create something completely unique to you.
At each Art All Dayer event, Cotton On MCR offer a free exhibition to a Manchester artist, or a group. This Summer Edition, they are pleased to announce they will be hosting the first ever solo exhibition of figurative and portrait artist, Jason Carr. Jason is a New Zealand born artist who has lived in the UK for 20 years. His work explores themes that circulate around the light and dark of life.
Cotton On MCR had the pleasure of displaying Jason’s work in their ‘In Manchester’ exhibition, and even sold a piece of his work across the ocean to New York! Not only will Jason be showing a new range of work and art prints for sale, he will also be doing informal talks on the day, giving you more insight into his paintings and being on hand to answer any questions you may have!
