About the team:
Our experienced leadership team ensure our colleagues and business partners deliver the highest standard of service to customers and stakeholders. They ensure that the 24/7 services we provide operate safely, compliantly, and as efficiently as possible.
We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Airfield Operation. You will utilise your proven leadership experience to maintain, develop and enhance the performance of multiple teams and stakeholders where some of your accountabilities will include:
Responsibility for the overall performance and day to day operation of the airfield, including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking stands and servicing areas.
Developing operational plans and procedures including business continuity contingencies, utilising MI Data to support decision making.
To lead, support and develop front line managers to deliver a best-in-class service.
Responsibility to deliver KPIs, safety targets and compliance levels within the airfield environment.
Review and implement fit for purpose compliance and competency frameworks
To support and contribute to regulatory audits as required by third parties including the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
To develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with airline customers and service partners.
Named in the Aerodrome Manual as the responsible manager for day to day airfield operations.
Support the effective management of budget including resources associated with this.

As a pro-active leader with proven experience of developing and leading high performing teams you will possess the follow experience and skills:
Demonstrable experience of leading a fast-paced high-profile service within a regulated environment.
An approachable leader, with a ‘can do’ attitude who leads by example.
A strategic thinker with the ability to view operational matters holistically.
Excellent key stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and develop relationships internally and externally.
Demonstrable experience of implementing robust compliance frameworks and improvement trackers including quantitative outputs.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work with complex data and information to analyse and inform decisions.
Proven ability in developing a high-quality safety culture
Good commercial acumen with the ability to think holistically.
