After the huge success of last year’s event, the 2023 lineup promises a side-splitting selection of some of the best comics in the U.K, including Adam Buxton, Ed Gamble, Sara Pascoe, Alan Davies, Russell Kane, Dylan Moran, Phil Wang and Fern Brady.

And if that’s not enough, the dazzling talent of Tim Key, Troye Hawke, ventriloquism queen Nina Conti, Father Ted’s Ardal O’Hanlon, Rachel Parris from the Mash Report and the bumbling genius Ivo Graham will also be performing.

Don’t miss the homegrown talents of Edinburgh Comedy Award best newcomer nominee Josh Jones & British Comedian of the Year 2022 Dan Tiernan plus fast-rising breakthrough acts like the superb Shanon Wanjohi, much-tipped Ania Magliano, Ceyla AB and much, much more.

Combining exceptional mixed-bill shows with a top selection at the bars and the very best eats from Manchester’s street-food scene, this five-night festival is already a stand-out city favourite.

Bursting onto the scene last September with a dazzling series of sell-out shows starring James Acaster, Aisling Bea, Josh Widdicombe and many more, the crowd-pleasing festival welcomed over 10,000 comedy lovers from Manchester and beyond.

Each show at this year’s comedy spectacular will present a compilation of the biggest names in stand-up, alongside the brightest new talents, guaranteeing ticket holders an outrageously good time.

This is the latest venture from the sibling team behind a series of successful comedy festivals running annually across London and the South.

Following the hugely successful first year in Manchester, the pair are looking forward to returning.

Will says “Last year’s festival was epic, the shows and crowds were electric, we couldn’t have asked for a stronger first year.

“For this year’s return, we’ve been focused on making sure we maintain that feeling by presenting line-ups that will amaze and delight.”

Cass adds “We’ve added more even shows and are looking forward to welcoming back everyone that came last year plus their friends and families too, it’s going to be another incredible year.”

This year’s event is partnered with online new and used car marketplace heycar.

Head of Brand Marketing Charlotte Ford said: “We’re delighted to be back as presenting partner for the second year in a row with our friends at Laughterama.
With a fantastic line-up of the UK’s top comedians including Ed Gamble and the hilarious Sara Pascoe, heycar is thrilled to be part of the summer of feel-good once again. I look forward to seeing everyone in Manchester.”
