Being big fans of the Espresso Martini here at I Love Manchester and the fact we need at least 15 coffees of a morning just to function normally, we were all ears about the new coffee Liqueur experience in the Northern Quarter.

Kahlúa, the original Mexican coffee liqueur, has teamed up with Manchester hospitality heroes The Liquorists, The Coffee Circle and Teacup on Thomas Street to launch ‘Kahlúa Coffee House’, its first creative food and drink experience; inspired by the unique heritage of Veracruz, Mexico.

From Friday 29th March to April 28th at 104 High Street in the northern quarter, the vibrant Kahlúa Coffee House will feature two floors of Mexican inspired coffee cocktails, food, film nights and a speakeasy style VIP room, Salon de Kahlúa hosted by cocktail masters The Liquorists.

Manchester’s finest swing aficionado Dr Sid will open the venue with a guest DJ appearance on Good Friday and the fun continues throughout April with a series of free cocktail master classes, film screenings and surprise events. Follow the Kahlúa Coffee House on Twitter @KahluaUK to find out what is going on first.

Cocktail and Coffee masterclasses with the Liqourists and Coffee Circle are free and include a signature Kahlúa Espresso Martini. Guests must be 18 or over to apply and spaces are limited. Bookings can be made at:www.kahluacoffehouse.com or by contacting @KahluaUK on Twitter.
