Iron Men: Mums Can Take Their Ironing To Corn Exchange This Weekend

Mums won’t be ‘board’ this mother’s day at Corn Exchange. If there’s one domestic chore most people hate more than any other it’s doing the ironing. So to celebrate its first Mother’s Day since re-opening, the Corn Exchange has come up with a great idea.

Most Mums would rather have their usual domestic jobs taken care of. Either that or a big bottle of gin.

What’s the best gift you could give mum on Mother’s Day this Sunday? One she will probably appreciate more than a box of chocolates, a bottle of fizz or a bunch of flowers? It’s the gift of ironing.

If you’re taking her to the Corn Exchange for lunch on Sunday, bring along your bundle of clean clothes and a team of Iron Men will get the ironing done free of charge while mum’s enjoying her meal. Your pants will be pressed and your shirts starched, ready to take home with you once you leave.

With 13 great restaurants to choose from plus some fantastic Mother’s Day offers, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Enjoy a free glass of fizz when you book a Mother’s Day table at either Salvi’s or Tampopo. There’s a special 2 or 3 course Mother’s Day menu at Cosy Club. Banyan has got a fab brunch option with bottomless fizz. And at Zizzi you can treat mum to their 3 courses and prosecco for £21.95.

So to give mum a treat she won’t forget this Mother’s Day, head to the Corn Exchange. The brownie points for getting rid of the ironing will be a great bonus for you, too!

The offer is only available to Corn Exchange diners. The expert team of three Iron Men will be in the atrium from 12pm – 2pm on Sunday 6th March eagerly waiting for you to drop off your clean clothes. Ironing will be completed on a first come first serve basis. Maximum number of items apply. Corn Exchange accepts no responsibility for any damage to garments.
