The highly anticipated showdown between Mayweather, who has won all 49 of his professional boxing fights, and UFC fighter McGregor will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

If you don’t fancy coughing up for a 12 hour flight and then an extra £7,765 for front row seats, there’s plenty of places round Manchester that are preparing for the match in a big way – which means booze, big screens and plenty of bar snacks.

Printworks manager Hannah Smithies says they’re expecting die-hard fans to make a memorable night of it.

“This has turned out to be the biggest sporting event of the year so far, and it’s definitely the most talked about,” she said. “They’re two of the most controversial names in sport so it should be a brilliant fight, there’s been such a lot of build-up to it, I just hope they put on an incredible show for the fans. McGregor has got a massive fan base here and Mayweather is a real legend, so everyone’s really hyped up about this.”

Here’s a few places we recommend.
