After conquering the unthinkable last year, trekking 2,400km from Manchester to Ibiza and raising a staggering £170,000 for charity, Henry Moores is back. But this time, he’s taking on the challenge in flip-flops.
With every blister and every step, Henry is pushing forward, not just for the adventure, but for something far bigger: to change the lives of young children with cancer.
Right now, he’s in Salou, fundraising is climbing past £35,000, and he’s determined to hit £50,000 by the time his flip-flopped feet finally touch the Balearic shores.

Speaking to I Love Manchester, he said: “The first time was so much fun, and a great adventure – I wanted to do it again, but with a bit of a twist.
“I just thought why not, I’m only young once and if I can enjoy myself, post videos online and raise money for a charity, why not? It’s a win-win.”

When asked why he picked them, he said: “When I was deciding on a charity I put out an application for people to recommend charities, I received hundreds for be more fab and just looking and young Florence how could I say no.
“Florence and her family are fantastic people and we believe they deserve all the support and fundraising. She is a wonderful human and inspires me every day.”
What do Bemorefab do?
Bemorefab is a Children’s Cancer Charity; their mission is to provide compassionate support to children and families navigating the challenges of cancer.
They’re dedicated to creating understanding and awareness within schools by educating peers about cancer and its impacts.
Their programs aim to empower children undergoing treatment by ensuring they receive the educational support they need, allowing them to thrive both academically and emotionally during difficult times.
Together, they strive to create a community of hope, understanding, and resilience, ensuring that no child or family faces cancer alone.
How far is he away from Ibiza?
Henry is not a million miles away from Ibiza now, and in surpassingly good shape considering how far he’s gone.
He said that it had been a ‘great adventure full of fun’ but there had been many low points on the trip.
Henry added: “There’s a lot more that goes on behind the scenes than meets the eye ie organising, stressing, physical problems and also the fatigue and missing home and family friends and girlfriend.
“That being said, who doesn’t love an adventure. There’s been a lot of fun times too.”
And surely, his feet are mangled to bits by now? Apparently not.
He said: “My feet are surprisingly okay! I have my good and bad days where out of no where they can really hurt but in general coping so much better than I could have ever dreamed, I’m not sure if it’s adrenaline or the beer keeping them sane.
And when asked the first thing he’s going to do when he arrives on the island, Henry was clear about that.
“The first thing I’m going to do when I get to Ibiza, i’ll have a few pints, relax and put my feet up.”
We all think that’s fair enough, Henry. Best of luck for the rest of the walk!
