Ever wanted to give Sherlock Holmes run for his money? Fancy yourself as a bit of a Hercule Poirot or DCI Jane Tennison?  Well this weekend, you can.

On Saturday evening, a prestigious awards ceremony is taking place at Manchester Art Gallery.

It will, of course, be a very civilised affair, but things are going to take a turn for the worst. Someone will be murdered.

It’s not going to happen in real life, of course. Manchester Murder Mysteries have created a brand new ‘catch a killer’ evening and it’s your opportunity to experience Manchester Art Gallery like never before.

Manchester Murder Mysteries don’t use actors. YOU, your family, friends or colleagues will all receive a role to play in the terrible tale.

You’ll take on the role of a famous Mancunian and solve the murder that’s taken place in the Art Gallery.

You’ll enjoy a welcome drink and some delicious food which is included in the ticket price (£39.95) and there will be a fully stocked bar open all evening. After all, trying to catch a killer is thirsty work .

The ticket price also includes the chance to explore the Art Gallery after hours – not something many people get the chance to do.

Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Murder Mysteries present A Very Mancunian Murder on Saturday 11th May. The event starts at 7pm and finishes around 10.30pm and limited tickets are available.
