Independent retail community Hatch is bringing Depop to life this weekend with a new independent fashion market hosted by some of Manchester’s top sellers.

They have handpicked 11 popular local sellers, who between them have over 178,000 followers on the popular fashion app. Each will be bringing an array of rare fashion pieces with them to the vintage fashion market tomorrow (Saturday 20th July).

Big-names set to attend include trainer specialist Block P, sustainable seller Jellygarms, Retroflex Vintage, M21 Vintage, Shop Blazed, Sestris Vintage and Gone Fishing vintage. Expect plenty of vintage pieces, rare trainers, and sustainable 00s and 90s streetwear.

And Hatch’s resident retailers will be there too with a mix of reworked vintage and hard-to-find streetwear pieces.

In case you didn’t know, Depop is a social app where you can post and sell – mainly resell – clothing.

Sitting somewhere in the middle of eBay and Instagram, it has its own social buy ambien reddit feed where you can advertise items. And you can message and purchase in the app too.

The London start-up has captured the under-25 market and some entrepreneurs are making huge salaries on it sifting through charity shops to find old Ralph Lauren socks and Dior handbags they can resell for huge profits. And this weekend they’ll be sharing their secrets as part of a panel discussion at the event featuring a mix of sellers, all with their own success stories to tell.

From scouring Facebook groups to using bots to automate the buying process for new drops, to classic old-school thrifting techniques, each has their own methods when it comes to making bank on the popular fashion app. This weekend is your chance to find out for yourself.

If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a six figure salary from the comfort of your bedroom, this could help.

The market will be open from 11am-8pm with the panel discussion at 2pm.
