Harvey Nichols Manchester welcomed the Spring Summer season with the who’s who of Manchester last Wednesday.

Celebrity client Liz McClarnon alongside the city’s fashion fans including Chantelle Tagoe, Leanne Brown, Jessica Lawlor, Theresa Samba, Jane Given, Emily Jagielka, Erin O’Neill and Jude Cisse were front row at the sold out SS14 Fashion Show.

Harvey Nichols Manchester’s top customers were eager to enjoy the 15% discount on SS14 Fashion and Accessories whilst indulging in a Perrier-Jouet Champagne drinks reception.

Guests warmly welcomed the return of the Harvey Nichols Manchester Fashion Show, after an autumnal break last year due to Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. With the horse-shoe catwalk in prime position across the Womenswear FirstFloor department, the 330 guests were greeted by stunning floral stage scenery over an all white backdrop.

As the lights dimmed, guests saw an exciting array of SS14 trends for Womenswear and Menswear. From the opening trend ‘Street Side Story’ paying homage to collegiate cool with key looks from Krisvanassche, Mitchell & Ness and Katie Eary whilst the ‘Throwback’ trend proved popular with guests fawning over Balmain and Valentino.

Keeping true to floral’s finest, ‘Midnight Garden’ showcased the best of blooms with brand favourites McQ Alexander McQueen and IRO. ‘Keen Explorer’ ‘Seductive Softness’ and ‘Metallics’ ended the show on a fashion high note, causing a stampede to the rails for those eager-to-shop customers.

The vibrant model makeup looks were provided by Stila with Only Fingers + Toes tending to toes and tips. The expertly groomed glossy locks were styled by the award-winning salon, Umberto Giannini which has newly launched in-store.
