A favourite with Manchester’s ladies who lunch, glitzy celeb haunt Menagerie is without doubt the place to see and to be seen.

It’s frequented by the Real Housewives of Cheshire and the Corrie crowd, and recent spots include American superstars Justin Timberlake, Drake, Kevin Hart and boxer Tyson Fury.

If you like the idea of rubbing shoulders with Manchester’s VIPs, there’s really nowhere better.

The venue itself is stunning. Often described as one of Manchester’s most Instagrammable spaces, the £1.5 million fit out spares no expense with striking features that include a gold plated bar, a birdcage, a human size pink floral elephant, a bathtub, plush booths and multiple picture settings perfect for luxuriating in style with your squad.

Opened in 2016 by Karina Jadhav, Menagerie’s theatrically immersive dining and performance concept set the tone immediately with acrobats hanging from the ceiling and dancers on a raised catwalk, making it the perfect place for those extra special occasions. After all, why settle for anything less than amazing when you’re celebrating?

Whether you’re looking for the perfect spot to host a shower for a mum-to-be or simply looking to indulge in some fabulous cocktails and food with the gang before heading out to the theatre, you’ll be treated like royalty from the moment you arrive at Menagerie.

When it comes to throwing a big bash, no one does it better. Menagerie recently hosted the afterparty for the British Soap Awards and a celeb-packed fashion show for Manchester fashion house Lavish Alice. When it comes to organising a blow-out do, it’s the place to be.

They pull out all the stops to help create the perfect party, working with bespoke menus to suit your group and going the extra mile to help you to add that extra sparkle to your special occasion.

Dining options range from an indulgent bottomless brunch menu which features mouth-watering options like French toast, eggs any way and stacked buttermilk pancakes; a selection of dainty and lovingly-prepared canapés; or a choice of set menus spanning everything from chipotle chicken tacos to truffle ravioli.

Or class things up with a spot of afternoon tea and tuck into finger sandwiches, an assortment of cakes and some cheeky social sharers like mac ‘n cheese and mini sliders.

On the drinks front, there’s a fantastic wine list and a range of sweet and inventive cocktails sure to get you in the party mood.

And, of course there’s lots and lots of champagne to be had. For anyone off the sauce there are some wonderful mocktail options, too. Just because you’re not drinking doesn’t mean you have to miss out.

The bar and restaurant has a range of spaces on offer and can cater for groups numbering anywhere from 25 to 500. So whether you’re planning a small friendly get together or a big shindig, they are more than able to accommodate you.

If you like to be the centre of attention, you’ll be pleased to hear their cicchettti area, restaurant and catwalk are available for private bookings. If you fancy a more intimate space, you can tuck yourselves away in the private dining room.

From intimate mixers and dinner parties to cocktails and canapés, you can’t go wrong at Menagerie.

One New Bailey, New Bailey St, Salford M3 5JL
