Well, Dive Bar over in the Northern Quarter, love a long weekend just as much as the rest of us and they are really making the most of the last bank holiday weekend of the summer.

Named the best place to watch live sports in Manchester Sky Sports and Carling, Dive is a great place to watch the latest games in ultra HD.

It was actually the first UK venue to boast the latest HD screens, football, boxing, rugby and cricket and you name it, this weekend they are showing it.

With 11 screens dotted around the venue, there is no reason for you to miss out on any of the action this weekend.

They will be showing the Premier League matches live starting on Friday 23rd August with Aston Villa vs Everton at 8pm.

On Saturday 24th you can watch Norwich City vs Chelsea kicking off at 12.30pm and Liverpool vs Arsenal at 17.30.

If that’s not enough sport to fill your boots, there’s more. On Sunday 25th it’s Bournemouth v Manchester City and Newcastle vs Tottenham Hotspur.

And don’t forget England vs Australia in the third Ashes test and the big rugby union match, England v Ireland. Scrum at the ready.

Dive Bar have got you covered on the food and drink front too.

If you book in advance and quote ‘ILOVEMCR’ you will get buy one get one free on pints throughout the day AND 40% off the new, seriously tasty Asian street food menu. Oh how we spoil you.

And Dive will still be throwing one hell of a party until the small hours of the morning – 5am to be precise – on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. It’s not like you need to be up for work or anything.

Dive is a one stop shop for all your sport, party and drinking needs. What more could you want from a bank holiday weekend?
