With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, Manchester’s boutique bowling bar Dog Bowl is giving destiny an extra nudge by playing Cupid for the night by inviting singles to mingle over a game of bowling on Wednesday 10th February at 7pm.
Lonely hearts can come and show off their best spin and curl tricks to attract potential partners with mixed team games and speedy rounds.
Daters will be given the chance to try a series of five ball games with potential partners and if they sense enough of a spark to want to take it further, Dog Bowl will offer them the chance to have dinner together that night with 50% off their food bill.
Dog Bowl co-owner, Ross Mackenzie said “First dates can be awkward – especially when faced with a stranger over a dinner table. We hope our five ball speed dating game will give potential lovers enough time to get to know each other and decide if they would like to take their date to a table for a more intimate second round. We’ll even give them 50% off their meal that night to help cupid on his way.”
Who knows, if the sparks do fly, new couples may well be heading back to Dog Bowl for Valentine’s Day to make the most of the special couples package on offer. Loved-up Mancunians can enjoy 2 courses, a glass of prosecco and a game of bowling for just £25 per person.
