Blending circus, spoken word, UK HipHop, Grime and Afrobeat, Showdown takes a playful but powerful look at ambition, pressure and what it really means to win. The show dives into the performers’ personal journeys while chaos unfolds around them, with the audience right at the heart of the action.

Created by an outstanding team including Upswing’s Artistic Director Vicki Dela Amedume, rising comedian Athena Kugblenu, and London artist Afrikan Boy, this genre-bending production is full of energy, emotion and edge.
